Waco local reports suspect in fatal shooting of unarmed man

WACO, Texas — Authorities have identified the suspect in a fatal shooting Tuesday that left a local man dead.
Investigators have identified a suspect in the shooting death of an unarmed man, Waco Police Chief Charles Beck said in a statement Thursday.
The Waco Tribune-Herald identified the man as 30-year-old Joseph Leland, of Waco, Texas.
He was charged with murder and related crimes.
The newspaper reported that police found Leland at a gas station parking lot with a loaded handgun.
Police say they believe the two had a fight and Leland shot him.
Authorities identified the victim as 29-year old Joshua Williams, of West Virginia, who was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon after a confrontation in his apartment complex parking lot.
The newspaper said Williams was unarmed when Leland opened fire.
