We’ve been hearing the rumors that Destiny 2 might be coming out sometime in 2018.
And now, according to a new post from a developer who’s working on the title, that’s just not going to happen.
The developer, The Devs, recently spoke with Polygon about what’s going on with Destiny 2, what to expect from the game and what to be wary of when playing.
Here’s what they had to say:It’s pretty common that a developer is in a position where they’re already working on something they’re really excited about.
We have two big titles, and one of them is going to be released in 2018 and the other is going be released this year, so that means a lot of things.
The first thing that I want to say is, I don’t think Destiny 2 is going away anytime soon.
I think the Destiny franchise is really well-established, so we’re just going to wait and see what happens in the next couple of years.
I think we’re very much in the process of getting a game into the hands of players and making sure we’re making it right.
So the first thing I want you to remember is, Destiny 2 was created by Bungie Studios, which means Bungie Studios is the developer of Destiny.
So we’re working with them on Destiny 2.
And what I’m really excited for you to see is, it’s going to take a little bit longer than we thought, because they have a lot going on.
The game is still in early development, and the development is still being done, but we’re in the final stages.
So there’s a lot more to come, but right now, we’re excited about getting it out to you guys.
